Who should Join?
We are actively looking for multi-skilled members that want to make a big difference with their efforts with us. Putting together an event of the scale and quality of TEDxDharamshala requires several hundreds of hours of volunteer effort, from a team of 25 people and on-day volunteers. Just like any small organisation, everyone has a specific, defined roles and responsibilities.

Core Team
The leadership roles we refer to as “core team” require a significant level of effort – demand varies across the year. The core team is responsible for tying in all efforts to build the mammoth annual conference.
We are interested in interviewing students (undergrads), fresh graduates, and professionals (looking for part-time unpaid opportunities). Keep in mind – core team members have a lot of work and they need to put in several hours each week so you will have to convince us that you are brilliant in what you do!
Event Volunteers
We usually also recruit a team of more general volunteers for our On-the-day Team as well as a number of specific tasks before the event/week. We shall open applications for the same close to the event date.
Note: If you take on a core team role, you’ll be committing to a full year of involvement with TEDxDharamshala, potentially for several hours each week. There are regular week and weekend meetings to attend and be present at.
